SLIDESHOW WITH CAPTIONS
There are lots of slideshow programs on the web. Negrino and Smith even
list a couple in JavaScript for the World Wide Web. But none of them have
the ability to link captions with images. That's what I did here. Now you
can have captions without PhotoShopping the image files and change the
captions any time you want. Just type in the new captions. Remember, you
need to adjust the ARRAY numbers to match the number of images and captions.
Don't ask me why JavaScript arrays start at [0] instead of 1; go ask the
people who created it. It's a language, and even though it's a tiny
language, it resembles other human languages in having arbitrary rules with
no real purpose. That's the way it is.
